I was going to take a poll of when might work for everyone. I can't do it until after June 20, and then we're away again from July 15 to August 1. Who will be around from June 20 to July 13ish and then again in August. Preferences? Also, are there preferences regarding weekday vs. weekend?
Pam had asked to host a book club meeting in late July, so she can take advantage of the warm weather to have a BBQ in her backyard. If you want, we can discuss both books at that meeting. Or we can have a seperate one for "Oscar Wao." I'll let Dulcy handle that, if she wants. In the meantime, we'll go ahead with a new book for summer.
Think of this blog as our virtual book group where we can keep in touch with each other, share thoughts on books we've read -- or would like to read, announce upcoming literary events and readings, and find out details about our meetings.

Spoke to Dulcy this weekend; she has yet to reschedule. So, still time to prep a few smart sounding observations...

Aside from 4th of July weekend, I'm open to dates Sundays-Thursdays. Sundays are iffy but will do my best if it's the collective will.
